About the opportunity
We’re looking for a driven and strategic bilingual senior product marketing manager (PMM) to lead go-to-market and growth initiatives across two high-impact portfolios: Powerpay by Dayforce and Dayforce Services. This role is ideal for a passionate marketer who thrives on translating product value into growth, adoption, and customer success.
This is a dual-focused position supporting two key business areas:
- Powerpay by Dayforce is our simplified payroll, HR, and time solutions designed for small and medium sized businesses in Canada. In this stream, you’ll lead customer lifecycle marketing, launch new and enhanced offerings, and craft data-driven strategies to deepen engagement, adoption, and upsell within our existing customer base. You’ll collaborate closely with the general manager, product lead, and VP of sales for Powerpay to shape go-to-market plans that drive measurable growth.
- Dayforce Services covers our suite of implementation, advisory, and managed services that help customers get the most from their Dayforce investment. In this stream, you’ll partner with our services team to develop and lead marketing strategies that elevate awareness, drive demand, and support revenue growth across the services portfolio.
In both areas, you’ll be responsible for defining strategy, building positioning and messaging, and enabling customer-facing teams with the tools they need to succeed.
About you:
You’re a curious, results-driven marketer who thrives on uncovering market insights and turning them into actionable strategies. You:
Continuously monitor the market to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in HR tech
Understand a wide range of customer segments from small and medium Canadian segments to large and global enterprises
Translate insights into customer journeys that drive strategy and enable cross-functional teams
Build clear, compelling positioning and messaging, and know how to activate it across go-to-market channels
Bring knowledge of HCM products, services, and enthusiastic curiosity of the rapidly evolving impact of AI
Reduce complexity for customers by deeply understanding how our solutions solve real-world problems
Be the strategic connector between product, sales, and marketing, bringing clarity, alignment, and momentum
Are a strong strategist, storyteller, and presenter with a bias for action, delivering fast, polished, and brand-aligned work
What you'll get to do:
Develop market strategy: collaborate with the Powerpay GM and product lead to analyze trends in the Canadian SMB HR tech market. Define go-to-market plays, pursuit plans, and opportunities in partnership with sales and services leadership.
Conduct market & competitive intelligence: monitor analysts, thought leaders, influencers, and competitors to inform positioning, campaigns, and enablement efforts. Translate findings into actionable insights for internal teams.
Create differentiated messaging & positioning: develop compelling positioning, messaging, and value propositions. Build supporting materials including customer-facing collateral, pitch decks, and demand-gen assets. Ensure website content aligns with current narratives.
Lead product & service launches: drive cross-functional readiness for new and enhanced Powerpay and Dayforce Services offerings. Alongside the Product team, define pricing, naming, messaging, and implementation plans across regions. Partner with product to define value narratives and build launch content.
Develop customer influencer programs: design programs that turn customers into advocates—managing reviews, referrals, win-back efforts, and customer-led content. Own cross-functional customer communications strategy. Embrace product-led growth strategies.
Deliver sales enablement for Powerpay: create pitch decks, datasheets, talk tracks, and a FAQ to equip the sales team with tools that reflect segmentation strategies and enable strong customer conversations.
Enable the services organization: work with the enablement team to train services on how to position new offerings. Support alignment with product-focused sellers to ensure cohesive solution-selling across teams.
Drive growth with the install base: partner with Product to lead in-app upsell motions for Powerpay. Analyze performance, test new tactics, and create an ongoing feedback loop to refine future cross-sell and upsell strategies.
